Can this element with its electronic controls be connected to a control panel via a 3 pole contactor that is in turn controlled by a 7 day timer? If so, will the controller in the element remember its last state? For example: If the element was set to ‘on’ when the timer in the panel shuts off the power, will it resume operation when the timer switches its supply back on the next morning?

Also, the existing Santon MY616 element hasn’t lasted very long. It’s fitted to a large hot water calorifier with a secondary hot water circulating pump. The site is in central London and the calorifier has a history of ‘eating’ through immersion elements.
